This Is The Sea
This is a short video of the beautiful ocean at Izu Kogen, on the east coast of Izu Peninsula. Mike and I went there on 27 December 2006 for a walk along the magnificent coastal path. There was a big swell after the previous day's storms, but it was a lovely warm day. You can also see some photos here.
Three Days in Yatsu-ga-dake
Mike and I went for a three-day hike along the Yatsu-ga-dake ridge in Nagano, from 18 to 20 September 2007. For two of these days we were up above the clouds with incredible panoramic views of the Northern, Central and Southern Alps and Mt. Fuji resting in a sea of cloud. You can also see some photos here.
